Canada Research Chairs

Canada Research Chairs

In 2000, the Canadian Federal Government allocated an aggressive $900 million in the establishment of more than 2,000 Research Chairs – grants to promising researchers to fund their continued discovery process. There are currently 43 Research Chairs at the University of Waterloo, 5 Research Chairs at Wilfrid Laurier University, and 25 Research Chairs at nearby University of Guelph.
